The Marche is one of the least known and most beautiful regions of Italy. Stretching from the Adriatic coast to the Apennine Mountain range, it is full of medieval towns nestling on the hilltops overlook fertile valleys. The area has for long had an important artistic tradition. There were famed schools of painting in Camerino, Tolentino and Urbino. The renowned artists of that period included Vittorio Crivelli and Pietro da Rimini.
The tradition continues and is represented here by Marche Art, a co-operative of working artists who offer their signed, hand-printed engravings exclusively on Collectors’ Post. Each engraving is numbered and is one of a limited edition. All are printed on hand-made paper produced in Fabriano, another of the important Marche towns.
Each of the engravings comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that is signed by the artist.

A series of artists from MARCHE ART
is being featured on this page.
